Finally!! On the 3rd of June 2019, we witness a draft of a High Impact Wildlife Warning Sign.
Shai from the Agile Wallaby project has been working so hard for the past few years, convincing the authorities why we need these signs along Captain Cook Highway, especially around Trinity Beach Roundabout. Many wallaby deaths cause by daily commuting vehicles. This is such a great “sign” for the safer future, for these little wallabies. Please be mindful when spotting these signs and do not hesitate to call 1300 ANIMAL if you see injured or dead wallabies.
