Wildlife Carers from all different rehabilitation groups came together on 29 April 2019, to help this little red flying fox. This bat and her pup will be relocated safely to one of the regions’ best Bat Carers. The Agile Wallaby project has expanded beyond just wallabies because we now rescuing and rehoming bats.
When we all work together, we can achieve so much more?
Unfortunately, for this little pup, this mum passed away from head trauma not long after. But fingers crossed that he will make it healthily! Every native animal is worth saving, especially this important keystone species of Tropical North Queensland. Apart from these adorable flying foxes and wallabies, we also help rescue other native animals, such as birds, and possums.
